The Level 3 Improvement Technician apprenticeship is ideal for employees tasked with delivering improvement activity within a specific area of responsibility, and coaching others to do the same.

During the programme, apprentices will learn to support continuous improvement by applying renowned methodologies, such as, Lean and Six Sigma. These complement a range of key practical skills to help deliver measurable and value-driven performance improvements.

This apprenticeship is designed for members of an operational team and can span many industry sectors. It will also equip apprentices to resolve problems, prevent re-occurrence and engage effectively with others, to garner support for ongoing measurable performance improvement.

For apprentices aged 16-18, achieving Functional Skills qualifications in Maths and English is mandatory, unless already obtained the equivalent GCSE at grade 4/C or above.

For apprentices aged 19 and over, undertaking Functional Skills is optional but must be agreed with the employer.
