Oxford Professional Education Group is Awarded Main Provider Status

Oxford Professional Education Group (OXPEG) was founded in 1997 and is a leading professional training organisation in the areas of marketing, sales, procurement, HR and project management. With over 20 years of professional qualification delivery and subcontracting apprenticeship experience as subject matter experts, OXPEG is uniquely placed to deliver outstanding practical apprenticeships to employers and apprentices. Since 2018 they have been working in partnership with prime apprenticeship providers to facilitate delivery in their key areas of expertise.

In August 2020, Oxford Professional Education Group was awarded Main Provider status and has been included in the updated Register of Approved Training Providers (RoATP).

Main provider status will enable OXPEG to independently develop, design and deliver pathways through apprenticeships to best suit the learner and employer. Control of the delivery and training will ensure all our apprenticeships align with business objectives and current employer training as well as improving the quality of training and professional standards in the industry.

Apprenticeships provide an exciting opportunity for UK businesses to upskill team members, providing them with the skills, knowledge and behaviours they need to succeed and contribute more to the commercial organisation – increasing both staff motivation and retention. They are a cost-effective way of training and allow employers to take advantage of government funding, even if they are not currently contributing to the levy.

As a main provider, we can also assist with the recruitment of apprentices. This can involve selecting suitable candidates, based on eligibility, to undertake an apprenticeship and/or developing or approving job descriptions to match the standard. The Group are able to post vacancies on the approved “Find an Apprenticeship” site and lead on more detailed recruitment campaigns such as sitting on panels and shortlisting candidates.

Oxford Professional Education Group works closely with employers to develop bespoke programmes which best suit and benefit businesses, and are able to provide flexible, high-quality training across all business and learning sectors to ensure employer needs and requirements are met.
