Apprenticeship Units are the government’s new initiative, offering a faster way to upskill by completing an extracted segment of a full apprenticeship, allowing for targeted training.
These new bite-sized programmes are designed to offer training which take days or weeks to complete – rather than months or years typical of the full apprenticeship curriculum.
Apprenticeship units not only offer employers a route to fast track staff training in critical skills areas. They also provide a more focused and flexible way to train, and offer a faster return on investment.
