The Improvement Specialist Level 5 Apprenticeship is designed for professionals responsible for deploying business improvement strategies aligned to organisational goals.

This management level programme builds knowledge to drive operational excellence and manage complex level problem solving, successfully leading organisations through the transformation.

The apprenticeship covers advanced topics, including: successful project planning and review, change management, process mapping and analytics, leading improvement teams, and Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools.

Apprentices will be equipped with the advanced concepts and key skills to lead transformation across the business or organisation, and also build the capability of others.

What’s Involved

Apprenticeships

Our apprenticeships are delivered through a blend of virtual and face to face sessions, led by subject specialists. Our flexible delivery mode and small cohort sizes enable us to tailor apprenticeship programmes to your particular requirements.

For apprentices aged 16-18, achieving Functional Skills qualifications in Maths and English is mandatory, unless already obtained the equivalent GCSE at grade 4/C or above.

For apprentices aged 19 and over, undertaking Functional Skills is optional but must be agreed with the employer.

Through the apprenticeship, Improvement Specialist practitioners will have acquired the following knowledge and skills, and be able to exhibit the following behaviours:
