We have mapped the Multi Channel Marketer Apprenticeship knowledge content to the CIM Foundation Certificate in Professional & Digital Marketing. This means the apprentice can gain the CIM Foundation Certificate in Professional & Digital Marketing by simply taking one additional 10 credit module.

For apprentices aged 16-18, achieving Functional Skills qualifications in Maths and English is mandatory, unless already obtained the equivalent GCSE at grade 4/C or above.

For apprentices aged 19 and over, undertaking Functional Skills is optional but must be agreed with the employer.

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, Multi-Channel Marketer apprentices will gain the knowledge and skills, and will be able to exhibit the following behaviours:

Knowledge:

Marketing Fundamentals and Strategy – Basic marketing principles and brand theory, including the purpose of a marketing plan, marketing channels, and customer analysis.

Customer Journeys – Understanding the customer journey, personas, and engagement strategies.

Campaign Management and Analysis – How to manage budgets, measure ROI, and evaluate marketing activities.

Skills:

Strategic Planning and Coordination – Developing briefs for stakeholders, executing marketing activities for customer segments, and evaluating campaign delivery.

Content Creation and Management – Creating content for online and offline mediums by writing persuasive communications and using software to design assets.

Data Analysis and Evaluation – Using research and survey software to gain and interpret audience insights.

Behaviours: 

Responsibility and Initiative – Demonstrate accountability and ownership of tasks and workload.

Adaptability and Collaboration – Be able to work flexibly and collaboratively with others across the organisation and external stakeholders.

The Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship with Oxford Professional Education will enable apprentices to find their specialist interests, initiating a promising journey toward a successful marketing career. Upon completion, they will be qualified to progress onto the Level 4 Marketing Executive Apprenticeship.
