Slightly obsessed with quality, I strive to ensure that the new skills and knowledge you acquire with us are 100% practical and have a positive measurable return on investment! Similarly, I seek to make our college a safe and happy environment for all learners and my fabulous colleagues – without whom my job would be a lot harder!
Drawing from over two decades of experience in the education sector, I bring a unique blend of strategic vision and hands-on leadership to Oxford Professional Education. My passion for continuous improvement drives me to constantly innovate our curriculum and delivery methods, ensuring that our programmes remain at the forefront of industry demands. Outside of work, you can find me walking my black Labrador, Humphrey, or playing golf (badly).

Paul : Apprenticeships Director
I’m Paul, the Apprenticeships Director here at Oxford Professional Education. Having worked for 10+ years in Apprenticeships and Education, gaining a solid understanding and knowledge in this sector from working in both FE and an Independent Training provider, I am pleased to see progress within the industry and proud of our contribution in providing quality programmes, supporting our apprentices to enter the world of work, or for our employers who want to upskill their current teams creating a motivated and sustainable workforce.
I am proud of our Apprenticeship Team who are all dedicated professionals and committed to providing an outstanding experience for our apprentices and employer-customers alike, which is testament to our recent ‘Good’ Ofsted grading.
Outside of work, I enjoy catching up with friends and both watching and playing various sports.

Lisa : Apprenticeship Business Manager
Hi, my name is Lisa and I work in the Apprenticeship Team as Apprenticeship Business Manager. I have had the pleasure of working in Apprenticeships for over 10 years and have gained a wealth of knowledge within this sector. This has enabled me to successfully engage with new and existing employers and provide dedicated support through constant communication, offering initial advice and guidance on all aspects of apprenticeships from explanation of the funding rules, recruitment and onboarding.
I enjoy supporting our Apprentices to gain new skills and developing their careers and I am proud to work as part of a team who has helped 100% of our apprentices pass with 76% gaining a distinction grade.
Away from work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My son and daughter both enjoy playing rugby so you will usually find me at the side of the pitch on a Sunday morning.

Lucy : Learning Support Officer
I’m Lucy and my role within the Apprenticeship Team is to coordinate the smooth progression of apprentices throughout their programme. I provide pastoral support, whilst simultaneously working to foster a positive and inclusive environment for apprentice’s to thrive in.
One of my main responsibilities is to organise and attend Progress Reviews with on programme apprentices and their line managers, ensuring the apprentice is on track with their learning and Off-The-Job requirements. By creating a trusted working relationship with the apprentice, I am able to identify and understand any challenges and provide appropriate feedback to their employer offering solutions to support; as well as highlight and recognise achievements.
Outside of work I enjoy trips to independent coffee shops with my friends and walking my lovely dog, Piper.

Mia : Learning Support Officer
I’m Mia, and I work within the Apprenticeship Team as a Learning Support Officer. My role is to oversee the seamless progression of apprentices throughout their programme and to provide pastoral support.
A key part of my responsibilities is arranging and attending Progress Reviews with apprentices currently on- programme and their line manager. This provides the opportunity to discuss their progress, and ensures apprentices stay on track with their learning objectives, as well as meeting their Off-the-Job training requirements.
Additionally, I assist apprentices with any specific support needs they may have. I can help identify any challenges they may face, support with reasonable adjustments, and offer relevant feedback to their employers. I love to make sure we highlight and celebrate their successes.
Outside of work I enjoy going to classes at the gym, long walks, travel and spending time with my family.

Becca : Apprenticeships Manager
